ABOUT ME

페인트 브러시와 아티스트

I am a Fine Arts student developing an ongoing visual practice grounded in painting and drawing. My work begins with close observation of subtle emotional states, personal memory, and moments of stillness that often remain unnoticed in everyday life.

Rather than constructing fixed narratives, I approach each work as a process of looking, responding, and revisiting. Through restrained composition, layered surfaces, and a measured use of color, I explore how internal experiences—such as hesitation, distance, or quiet tension can be translated into visual form. I am particularly interested in ambiguity and incompleteness, allowing space for images to remain unresolved rather than fully explained.

My practice values repetition and duration as essential components of making. By returning to similar forms, gestures, or themes over time, I seek to understand how meaning gradually shifts through sustained attention. This ongoing process allows the work to evolve slowly, reflecting not only visual change but also shifts in perception and emotional awareness.

Ultimately, my work is less concerned with representation than with presence. Through painting and drawing, I aim to create images that invite careful looking and quiet engagement, encouraging viewers to encounter moments of pause within an otherwise continuous flow of experience.
